I wrote the screen adaptation to my book, Potential, which is currently being developed into a major motion picture by Killer Films (Boys Don’t Cry, Far From Heaven, Mildred Pierce). The movie will be live action with some animation.
 
I’m currently a writer on the HBO series How To Make It In America. How To Make It In America follows the lives of two young guys from the Lower East Side trying to succeed in New York City’s fashion scene. The show stars Bryan Greenberg, Victor Rasuk, Lake Bell, Luis Guzman, Scott “Kid Cudi” Mescudi, and Eddie Kaye Thomas.
 
I was a writer on Seasons Three and Four of the hit Showtime series The L Word. The L Word follows the lives and loves of a group of lesbian friends and their families in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The show stars Jennifer Beals, Laurel Holloman, Leisha Hailey, Katherine Moennig, Mia Kirshner, and Pam Grier.
 
Confession: A Film about Ariel Schrag is a short documentary directed by Sharon Barnes. Barnes was also the personal documentary filmmaker to President Barack Obama for the last five months of his campaign. The Huluppu Tree is a short film by Molly Axtmann. Based on the ancient Sumerian myth, The Huluppu Tree tells the story of the Goddess Inanna's struggle to create her throne and become Queen of Heaven and Earth. I play Inanna.
 
Fighter is a short film directed by Sharon Barnes. Fighter tells the story of a rebellious oil wrestler who uses her prize money to enter herself into a Christian conversion program in order to break her girlfriend out. Fighter sold to MTV’s Logo channel. I play Mabel the Hunchback.
